Benefits:
-
Exfoliation: Chemical peels effectively remove dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. This exfoliation process helps to reveal fresher, healthier-looking skin underneath. By getting rid of the outer layer of dead skin cells, peels can improve the skin's texture and promote a smoother, more youthful appearance.
-
Skin Rejuvenation: Chemical peels can stimulate collagen production, a key protein that gives the skin its strength and elasticity. The increased collagen production helps to firm and tighten the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging.
-
Acne and Blemish Reduction: Chemical peels can be beneficial for individuals struggling with acne, as they help to unclog pores, reduce oil production, and exfoliate the skin. By removing dead skin cells and clearing out impurities, peels can help improve acne breakouts and minimize the appearance of acne scars.
-
Hyperpigmentation and Uneven Skin Tone: Chemical peels can help address issues related to hyperpigmentation, such as age spots, sunspots, and melasma. The peeling process helps to fade dark spots and even out the skin tone, resulting in a more balanced complexion.
-
Improved Skin Texture: Chemical peels can refine the skin's texture by reducing the appearance of roughness, unevenness, and superficial scars. They can also help to minimize the size of pores, giving the skin a smoother and more refined look.
-
Brighter and More Radiant Skin: Chemical peels can enhance the skin's overall radiance by promoting cell turnover and revealing fresh, new skin cells. This can result in a brighter complexion that appears more youthful and vibrant.

Consultation: First, we will have a consultation to discuss your skin concerns and goals. We will evaluate your skin condition and determine the most appropriate type and strength of chemical peel for your needs. This is also the time you'll share with us what your downtime recovery time looks like as well. We have a full array of options for all skin types and lifestyle requirements.
-
Preparation: Before the procedure, we will cleanse your skin thoroughly to remove any dirt, oil, or makeup. In some cases, we may recommend prepping your skin with specific skincare products for a few weeks leading up to the peel to enhance the results and minimize potential complications.
-
Application: Now, we will apply the chemical solution to your face using a brush, sponge, or cotton pad. We will carefully apply the solution to the targeted areas, being cautious to avoid sensitive areas such as the eyes, lips, and nostrils. The solution contains: Glutathione: The master antioxidant nourishes the skin at the cellular level and helps reduce pigmentation. Glycolic Acid: This alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) exfoliates dead skin, reduces the signs of aging, and eliminates acne-causing bacteria. Lactic Acid: A gentle yet effective exfoliant that brightens and hydrates the skin. Salicylic Acid: This beta hydroxy acid (BHA) fights acne, soothes skin, and keeps pores clear and clean. Citric Acid: This gentle alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) exfoliates the skin by dissolving dead skin cells, unclogging pores, and reducing the appearance of fine lines.

4. Observation: After applying the chemical solution, we will closely observe your skin's reaction to determine the optimal duration for the peel. This observation period allows us to ensure the solution is not causing any adverse effects.
5. Neutralization or Removal: Once the desired time has elapsed,
we will neutralize the peel by applying a neutralizing solution or remove the solution from your skin, depending on the type of peel used. This step halts the chemical reaction and stops the exfoliation process.
Recovery: Your skin will undergo a recovery period, during which you may experience some redness, peeling, or flaking. Some of our peels offer results with no down time at all. It's important you ask your provider before you start to ensure you're properly prepared for your post treatment time. It is crucial to follow the post-treatment care instructions provided by us to support the healing process and optimize the results.
