What to Expect

-
Consultation: The first step is to schedule a consultation with us, a licensed provider specializing in laser procedures. During the consultation, we will listen to your concerns and goals, and discuss the areas you want to treat. We will also inquire about your medical history and any relevant conditions to ensure the procedure is suitable for you.
-
Assessment and Planning: We will carefully assess your skin condition, examining factors such as elasticity, volume loss, and the presence of wrinkles or folds. Based on our evaluation, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that addresses your specific needs and desired outcomes.
-
Pre-treatment Preparation: Before the procedure, please be sure you're not on any antibiotics, had any recent sun exposure or any kinds of lip exfoliation treatments for at least 2 weeks. Additionally, this treatment is designed to be for non-filled or "virgin" lips so patients with prior lip filler are not recommended to treat with with LipLase.
-
Treatment Procedure: A controlled, non-ablative erbium or fractional laser is used to deliver energy to the lips and surrounding areas. The laser gently heats the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating fibroblasts to produce new collagen. The treatment is performed both externally (on the lip surface) and internally (inside the inner rim of mouth) to achieve maximum plumping and firmness.
-
Post-Treatment Care: A cooling gel or hydrating lip balm may be applied post-treatment. Patients are advised to keep lips moisturized and avoid excessive sun exposure. No downtime is required, though mild redness or tingling may be experienced for a short time.
-
Follow-Up: We may schedule a follow-up appointment to assess your results and address any concerns or questions you may have. This allows us to monitor your progress and make any necessary adjustments if needed.
