Benefits:

  • Wrinkle Reduction: Neurotoxin is most commonly used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines on the face, particularly those caused by repetitive muscle movements. It can smooth out frown lines, forehead wrinkles, crow's feet, and other dynamic wrinkles, resulting in a more youthful and refreshed appearance.

  • Non-Surgical Procedure: It is a non-surgical treatment option, meaning it does not require incisions or general anesthesia. It is administered through small injections, making it a less invasive alternative to surgical procedures like facelifts or brow lifts.

  • Quick and Convenient: Treatments are typically quick, often taking only a few minutes to complete. The procedure can be performed during a short office visit, allowing individuals to resume their regular activities immediately afterward. This convenience is especially appealing to those with busy schedules.

  • Minimal Downtime: Unlike surgical procedures that may involve significant downtime for recovery, it generally has minimal downtime. While some people may experience minor swelling or redness at the injection sites, these effects are temporary and usually subside quickly, allowing individuals to return to their daily routine without interruption.

What to Expect:

  1. Consultation: We'll start with a consultation with one of our licensed medical specialists.  During this consultation, you will discuss your specific concerns, goals, and expectations. Our nurses will evaluate your facial anatomy, skin condition, and medical history to help you determine if Botox/Dysport/Xeomin are suitable for you.

  2. Treatment Plan: Based on your assessment, the your nurse will create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs. They will discuss the areas to be treated, the expected results, and any potential risks or side effects associated with the procedure. They will also provide you with pre-treatment instructions.

  3. Preparation: It's important to avoid alcohol and stay well hydrated the day before to avoid bruising. When you're ready to treat, we will clean the treatment area, take some "before" medical chart photos and help you get comfortable.

  4. Injection: Using a very fine needle, the nurse will administer  injections directly into the targeted muscles. The number of injections and the amount of toxin used will depend on your treatment plan. The procedure usually takes only a few minutes to complete.

  5. Post-Treatment Care: After the injections, your nurse provide you with specific instructions to follow. This may include avoiding strenuous exercise, massaging the treated area, and refraining from touching or applying pressure to the treated areas. You may also be advised to avoid certain medications or supplements that can increase the risk of bruising.

  6. Results and Follow-up: It may take a few days to start noticing the effects and the full results usually become apparent within one to two weeks. The treated muscles will gradually relax, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and lines. The duration of the results can vary but typically lasts around three to six months. Depending on your goals and desired outcome, you may schedule follow-up appointments to maintain or adjust the results.
